According to Wikipedia they were retired in 1953, which
would mean that at best I was less than 3 years old. Thanks

I wonder if that is a contractors vehicle.  It looks like maybe they left
the apostrophe out and it shows the possessive of whatever the line
underneath says.  But shouldn't it be USA Air Force anyway ?

I know there has been a disparaging remark about wikipedia in this group, 
but I will stick with a authority that knows the difference between Man O' 
War, Man o' War, and Manowar, and has an article about Summer Cummings!!
